I work with the peer reviewed approach of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Using the connection between our thoughts, to our feelings, to our behaviours, to create positive change.

Person-centred

If you choose, I can work from a more person-centred approach, which means you are in the driver’s seat, and are seen as the expert in your own life. You take the lead.

Trauma-informed

If you have lived through trauma, this approach is imperative to ensure that your needs are acknowledged and taken care of. This approach understands that some behaviours are expected results of living through trauma, and are accepted as such, without judgement or shame.

Strengths-based

I always work from an approach where I recognise and celebrate a person’s strengths. Even through difficult situations, it’s valuable to recognise where you are making progress and can use these strengths in other areas of your life.
